2016 Daily Painting Day 22

My friend Dianne and I headed to our workshop a day early to explore the area a bit, and get a practice session in before we started.  We ended up in a town called Bonaparte along the river past where we had to drive to the next day.  Since I was doing my first Plein Air workshop in oils, it gave me a chance to get used to my set up and the process of working outdoors.

As we were preparing to wrap for the day, I released my painting from the clasp on the easel, it fell onto the palette getting paint on it and toppled off with my thinner landing on it.  Kind of trashed that effort.  Here is what I tried to salvage after getting home.
